I have been asked many times, "Why do you love massage so much. Isn't there anything else you'd rather do?". Well, there is a lot of things that I'd like to do. I would love to be a doctor, nurse, a sculptor, athletic trainer and many other things. However, I LOVE Massage. I often joke with my clients, telling them this is the closest I will ever come to being a doctor. See, I don't like blood, things that feel weird or needles. I figure this is the best compromise, the best of both worlds. I can be that "doctor" or "nurse", helping people get over their pain. I can also be a sculptor, have you ever felt a muscle destress? To have a muscle just submit, it's like manipulating butter in your hands. I also can continuely learn, there's over 350 modalities to choose! Even if I wanted to learn all of them, I would die first.
Let's not forget the clients! My clientele base, I love and miss them when I'm gone. I love people and all the different personalities. I think it helps you become grounded and very open minded. I try to keep that barrier with my clients that still allows an open door policy.
So, Why do you love Massage so much?
